Prenatal Classes for Expecting Parents

Welcoming a new baby is exciting—and it can also feel overwhelming. Our free prenatal classes are designed to help you feel informed, supported, and confident as you prepare for birth and life with your newborn. Whether this is your first baby or you’re welcoming another child, these classes create a calm, judgment-free space to ask questions and learn what truly matters in the early days.

We’ll walk through what to expect in the hospital after delivery, including common newborn procedures, feeding expectations, and how pediatric care fits into those first critical hours and days. You’ll also receive practical, evidence-based guidance on newborn care once you’re home—sleep, feeding cues, common concerns, and when to reach out for help.

You will learn that a unique part of our practice is built-in lactation support from pediatricians who are also International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs). This means you’ll learn about feeding directly from clinicians who understand both infant health and lactation—covering breastfeeding, bottle feeding, combination feeding, and how to navigate challenges early and compassionately.

We also introduce our Direct Primary Care (DPC) model and explain why it is especially supportive for first-time parents. With a small patient panel, longer visits, same- or next-day access, and direct communication with your pediatrician, our practice is designed to support you as you gain confidence and to advise you when you're worried.  New parents often tell us that knowing they can reach their pediatrician easily—day or night—brings enormous peace of mind during those early months.

Our goal is simple: to meet you where you are, help you feel prepared, and begin a trusting relationship before your baby even arrives. We’d be honored to be part of your journey from the very beginning.  Please reserve your spot on our Booking Site.
